TRIGIS - The World of Geodata

An important basis for work abroad is the adaptation to local conditions, whereby it may not be assumed from German or European values and standards. With the successful conclusion of the first Afghanistan project our enterprise gained appropriate experiences also in politically critical regions. Beside numerous projects in Europe, excluding Germany, TRIGIS represents projects particularly in the middle east (Afghanistan and Pakistan) as well as in francophonic Africa (Burundi, Congo, Rwanda, Sudan and Tanzania).

Each project makes special demands to the employment of technology and particularly to the local employees. With the numerous employments outside Europe under sometimes adventurous conditions TRIGIS gains experiences, what makes us a specialist for difficult employments. With each employment our colleagues gain experience, learn to overcome language barriers and to solve problems individually on the spot.

Abroad the service spectrum of TRIGIS covers the efficient employment of modern technologies and procedures – as for example satellite remote sensing and laser scanning -, but also the classical procedures of measuring. Our customers profit beyond that from our experience within the range of project organization and execution even under difficult basic conditions.

An emphasis of the future foreign work of TRIGIS is Africa. In our judgement the continent offers a high development potential and so will develop positively in the future. Besides to the actual work we put a special attention to the knowledge transfer between the project partners involved in the projects. Thus we do not only contribute for lasting progress, but we avoid at the same time the mistakes, made during development projects in the past.
